Verify cited statutes, regulations, directives, rules, and public guidance for currency, accuracy, and proposition support.

Verify cited statutes, regulations, directives, rules, and public guidance for currency, accuracy, and proposition support. Use when a legal document, brief, opinion, contract, or AI-generated output contains citations to legislation and you need to confirm that each provision exists, is currently in force (or was in force at the relevant date), has been correctly cited, has not been repealed or materially amended since citation, applies to the claimed territory, and actually supports the legal proposition advanced. Covers primary legislation (Acts, codes, statutes), secondary and delegated legislation (Statutory Instruments, regulations, orders, decrees), EU legislation (regulations directly applicable, directives requiring transposition), court procedural rules, and regulatory guidance. Flags hallucinated citations, wrong section numbers, uncommenced provisions, territorial scope mismatches, and guidance-cited-as-legislation errors. Jurisdiction-agnostic: covers UK, EU, US federal, Australia, Canada, Ireland, and Nordic jurisdictions with explicit [JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC] markers. Integrates with legalcode-mcp when connected.
